Bridge construction information

Beginning in late summer of 2011, construction will begin to replace the SH 392 bridge over I-25.  This is exit 262 (theWindsor exit).  Peak is located at the southeast corner of this interchange in the Westgate shopping center.  Construction is scheduled to be completed in spring of 2013.   

In the mean time, please be advised that delays across the bridge are possible, and alternate routes may be advised.  So far, traffic on I-25 northbound and southbound seems to run smoothly, and exits have not experienced significant delays.  Traffic west and eastbound on SH 392 has experienced more delays, as there is just one lane in either direction. 

To avoid experiencing any delays, please give an additional 10 minutes to your anticipated travel time.
